Reflection of Last Class

I never know what to expect when I walk into the classroom of N485, and last week's class was no exception. When you told us that we were dismissed for the break but told us that we could not leave our seats, I didn't know what to think. But we did it anyways and got some extremely wierd looks as we scooted along in our chairs down the hallway. I can't say that I have ever done that before. Also, the assignment you gave us to do whatever we wanted was interesting. It made us once again do somthing without restriction or rules. Last weeks class was one I won't forget for a while.

What if...

I decided to use Chris' What if question: What if Car's could fly through portals to connect to other states and countries within a matter of seconds. I thought that this question would be a fun one to portray using photoshop. It would be awsome if it were as easy as that. I would go to 20 different countries every day.

Best Egg Project

My favorite egg project was Evan's. It was very creative and entertaining. I thought that it was hilarious when the egg got hit with a golf club at the end.

Time is Slipping Away

When I was trying to figure out what I was going to to for this project, I thought about what the subject was. Time. The thing that stuck out most in my head about time was the fact that time seems to go by incredibly fast when you look back at your life. I tried to illustrate that idea by making this picture of time slipping through our fingers. So without further ado I present to you "Time is Slipping Away"..........

The Egg Assignment

For this assignment I thought of a number of things to do, but finally decided on one. I decided to paint a picture of an egg using the egg as the material.

I simply crushed the egg in a cup and then mixed it with paint. It didn't really turn out the way I thought it would. I had never tried painting with anything but paint, but it was a good experience.

Bible Dipping

When I opened the book to a random page, I opened it to page 222. It was a painting of a canvas with a painting of a seascape sitting in front of a window. What was outside the window looked like it was a continuation of the painting itself. The scene behind the painting may be completley different than what the painting is showing, but our mind makes us believe that it looks just like what the painting on the canvas looks like.
