My version of Rene Magritte
I decided to do a picture of Magritte's 3 favorite recurring themes: floating rocks, paintings within paintings and inanimate objects with human features. I tried to make a peice that would capture Maritte's style. So, I did so by putting them all in one picture. I have the paintings within painting, half boot half feet, and the floating rock outside the window.

Bottle O' Pills
I thought about this assignment for a long time. While I was helping my wife study for her nursing test by quizzing her, I came across a picture of a stran of DNA. I thought that it looked really cool and wondered if I could make a stran of DNA with pill bottles. I'm sure tons of people have thought the same thing. So, I went out and bought a hot glue gun and this is what I came up with.

Inspiration
I was inspired greatly during my visit to the Eiteljorg Museum. It had a lot of Native American and Western artwork. I was inspired by the ingenuity of the Native Americans in that they didn't have the resourses that we have, in yet they still managed to great beautiful works of art. The Eiteljorg Museum didn't just have Native American and Western artwork, it also had works of art by artist's such as Andy Warhol and Georgia O’Keeffe. It is extremely refreshing to go and see works of art that are created by some of the most talented and creative artists in the world.
What the Bleep Do We Know Assignment
I think that this movie was well done. It makes something that could be exrtremely boring to learn, entertaining. The idea of quantum physics has always interested me. If you believe it or not it doesn't really matter, because the point was to get you thinking. Far too many people don't know what life really is and for some reason don't care to. It's all a lot simpler than we think it is, but to describe that fleeting moment of truth we have all had is impossible through the use of words.

Bliss
For my bliss assignment, I decided to play Madden for a 2.5 hours. To be honest this is not very out of the ordinary for me to play for at least 2.5 hours. Anyway, it did help me to forget about all of the tests and assignments that I have to do for a little while at least. I think that if I where too stressed in the future, this assignment would definatily help me relax a little. Although next time I might do somthing a little more relaxing like go to the park or hang out with friends.
Reflection of Last Class
Last class was interesting to say the least. I'm just glad I didn't get putting in my ears. It was fun thinking about the senses that you don't usually pay attention to in certain situations.
Sense 7
For my 7th sense, I would want the sense of reading someone else’s mind. This would be freakin’ awesome. I would use it all the time. However, after a while it would kind of get annoying, so I would make it so that you could choose when you wanted to use the sense.
Sense 6
I think that a form of intuition is a 6th sense. For example when you are sitting in a public place and you just get that feeling that someone is looking at you. Or if someone is standing behind you, you somehow know that they are right behind you. This sense is not correct 100% of the time but it is kind of creepy when it is correct.
Sense 5
During class, I happened to feel up underneath my desk and when my hand hit something I could not help but see a big wad of nasty chewing gum. I saw it so vividly in my head I knew exactly what it was before even looking underneath the desk.
Sense 4
While I was playing Playstation, I could not help but notice the incredible smell of supper. It seemed to overwhelm me. No matter how much I tried to concentrate on the game, I could not help but notice the smell.
Sense 3
This morning while my alarms were going off (yes, I said alarms. As in 3), I noticed feeling of the warm blankets. This feeling seemed to trump the sense of sound because I was able to sleep through all three of my alarms. The comfort of my bed was too hard to leave.
Sense 2
In the morning before work I decided to watch a little tv like I always do. While watching tv, I thought that I would focus on the sense of taste. It wasn’t the most pleasant taste in the world considering I had not brushed my teeth yet. The only way to describe it was the taste of bad breath.
This Doesn't Make Sense: Sense 1
Tonight while I was eating supper, I decided to focus on the sense of hearing. I never noticed how loud it is when you chew. It made me wonder if everyone else could hear what I was hearing. Every time I chomped down on a different selection of food I would here a different sound.

Reflection of Last Class
I never know what to expect when I walk into the classroom of N485, and last week's class was no exception. When you told us that we were dismissed for the break but told us that we could not leave our seats, I didn't know what to think. But we did it anyways and got some extremely wierd looks as we scooted along in our chairs down the hallway. I can't say that I have ever done that before. Also, the assignment you gave us to do whatever we wanted was interesting. It made us once again do somthing without restriction or rules. Last weeks class was one I won't forget for a while.
What if...
I decided to use Chris' What if question: What if Car's could fly through portals to connect to other states and countries within a matter of seconds. I thought that this question would be a fun one to portray using photoshop. It would be awsome if it were as easy as that. I would go to 20 different countries every day.

Best Egg Project
My favorite egg project was Evan's. It was very creative and entertaining. I thought that it was hilarious when the egg got hit with a golf club at the end.

Time is Slipping Away
When I was trying to figure out what I was going to to for this project, I thought about what the subject was. Time. The thing that stuck out most in my head about time was the fact that time seems to go by incredibly fast when you look back at your life. I tried to illustrate that idea by making this picture of time slipping through our fingers. So without further ado I present to you "Time is Slipping Away"..........

The Egg Assignment
For this assignment I thought of a number of things to do, but finally decided on one. I decided to paint a picture of an egg using the egg as the material.
I simply crushed the egg in a cup and then mixed it with paint. It didn't really turn out the way I thought it would. I had never tried painting with anything but paint, but it was a good experience.

Bible Dipping
When I opened the book to a random page, I opened it to page 222. It was a painting of a canvas with a painting of a seascape sitting in front of a window. What was outside the window looked like it was a continuation of the painting itself. The scene behind the painting may be completley different than what the painting is showing, but our mind makes us believe that it looks just like what the painting on the canvas looks like.
